 Unfortunately for me I haven’t been able to ride Libby since Tuesday.  Wednesday I went out to the barn and it started to rain right when I got there.  Boo.  Was really gloomy out, but I gave her a good grooming and talked to the barn owners about Libbys new food, which she got in!! And we talked about doing different things with her bedding.  I’m thinking of adding a new top layer of regular wood pine shavings to give her extra padding, and keeping the pelleted stuff underneath so act as the absorbent factor.  Hopefully it works. Set up vaccination dates with the vet, that time of year again, and set up my first lesson with the new trainer for the next morning. 

Unfortunately, when I got to the barn it started raining AGAIN! Ugh I can’t escape this weather.  Tried waiting it out, but whoever’s in charge of the weather was making sure I couldn’t ride.  Seemed like every time it started tacking up, the rain would come down heavier.  Oh well.  Moved my lesson to try and fit it in Friday morning, and gave Libby yet another grooming job and lots of cookies.  For some reason shes loosing hair on her nose as you can see in the pictures, and I’m trying to figure out why.  Do you guys have anything thats works well to regrow hair back? 

Anyways, I’m sure she doesn’t mind that I’m not riding.  And frankly I haven’t been feeling well since Tuesday so maybe it was a good thing that I didn’t ride in the rain.
